In-house toolmaking

The tooling.
The basis of your series.

New tooling, modifications, maintenance and optimisation in house. More than 150 series tools combine design experience with direct access to production.

Expertise in house

Direct coordination.
Integrated responsibility.

Toolmaking and series production share one location. Manufacturing knowledge feeds directly into design, modifications and sampling.

New tooling

Design and manufacture are aligned with component geometry, material and the production process.

Maintenance & repair

Tool servicing and repairs take place in house, close to series production.

Modification & optimisation

Geometry changes, corrections and process improvements are assessed alongside sampling.

The route to series

Technical alignment.
Economical production.

01

Understand requirements

Align application, drawing, material and annual volume.

02

Build the tooling

New tooling, modifications or transfers, in our own tool shop.

03

Sample & approve

Evaluate the component, process and agreed inspection points for production.

04

Manufacture in series

Automated manufacturing, assembly and packaging to your requirements.

Component, tooling and production

Supporting injection moulds throughout series production.

Our tool shop connects component geometry with series production. Design, new tooling, modifications and maintenance are aligned with material, demoulding and process requirements. Manufacturing at the same location provides direct feedback from production.

Your project in focus

  • Aligning new tools with the component, material and intended process
  • Implementing geometry changes and corrections in house

FAQ

Questions about working together.

Do you maintain and repair production tools?

Maintenance, repairs and necessary corrections are part of our in-house toolmaking services. Scope and implementation depend on tool condition and manufacturing requirements.

Can existing tools be modified?

Existing tools can be assessed and modified or repaired where required. We then evaluate the result through sampling and agree production approval.

Which documents help with a tooling enquiry?

Component drawings, material, samples, annual demand and the required function help with assessment. For existing tools, also include tool data, known issues and current manufacturing status.
